I would like to get around to doing a "basics" post soon, but for now I had to confess my love for U-Neck dresses from American Apparel. They look great dressed up or down, and work wonders with any dresses that are a bit sheer. In fact, I have several sheer overlays that look fantastic with these. The long sleeved version is fab too, I wore it all winter (in black, of course...).

I'm certain that most of you subscribe to WhoWhatWearDaily, but for those who don't, I couldn't resist sharing the lovely editorial that popped up in my inbox this morning. I've always loved how WWWD pays lots of attention to every intricate detail, and the Sunrise Junction editorial is no exception.
I am into the ruffled swimsuit by Current/Elliot in the third photo. I would pair that with some sandals, a cardigan and lots of jewelry and wear it on a mild summer day for an iced coffee run or lunch with a girlfriend. It's definitely playful and girly. And not to mention short, so don't forget your confidence while wearing this little number. And the rhinestone sweatshirt in the 2nd photo has been a DIY on my list for a while (and it's from BeBe!?). Overall, I love the mix of high/low and the laid back vibe from these outfits.
